The National Fertilizer Regulatory Agency (NaFRA) wishes to formally notify the public that all Licenses and Authorizations that were issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS) for the importation of fertilizers to Sierra Leone ended on December 31, 2022. NaFRA is now the agency responsible for the issue of Licenses/Authorizations to import fertilizers in Sierra Leone. No one shall import fertilizers to Sierra Leone without obtaining the appropriate licenses from NaFRA. Violators will be prosecuted accordingly.
