STEPS TO OBTAIN LICENSE
NaFRA works with Business enterprises that are authorized to do business in Sierra Leone.

 Registration of Enterprise with NaFRA: Download and Complete the form from NaFRA website.

1.Pay registration fee into the NaFRA Account with Bank of Sierra Leone(National Fertilizer Support Fund)

  • Submit the bank deposit slip and NaFRA registration form to NaFRA.
  • Submit copies of Business Registration and NRA documents to NaFRA    

2. Completion of a mandatory training: Basic Knowledge and Skills in Fertilizer Quality Assurance; Handling and Storage.

3.Application for License:  Download, Complete and Submit License application form on NaFRA website.

  • Provide data on Type and Quantity of products to import for per year.
  • Submit the License application form together with copies of NaFRA Registration and Training Certificates
  • Any other updated documents pertaining to the operations of your business in Sierra Leone.

Inspect of Storage Facilities: NaFRA management team will schedule an inspection of the storage facility to ascertain standards.

5.Payment of License Fee: License Fees are Revised periodically. Payment is made after inspection of storage facilities by NaFRA.

6.Receipt of License: NaFRA then prepares and issues the License Certificate with details on applicable rules and terms.
