Following NaFRA’s establishment, a knowledge gap has emerged in applying the Act and ECOWAS regulations. To improve fertilizer quality control in Sierra Leone, NaFRA recognized the necessity to train both Inspectors and Dealers in inspection procedures, fertilizer handling, store management and fertilizer use.

The training took place at Family Kingdom in Freetown from October 3^rd to October 5^th, 2022. A total of nineteen dealers and twelve inspectors were successfully trained.
